FLU VACCINE CLINICAL TRIAL
Pre-screening now for our Flu Vaccine Clinical Trial offered at our Pelham location. If you are a healthy adult between the ages of 19 to 64 who has not received your annual flu vaccine, participating in this study may be a good option for you. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a vaccine aimed at preventing a broad range of influenza (flu) viruses that provides season long protection. The study consists of only 6 visits over a 52 week period with screening beginning 30 days prior to dosage date which is scheduled for the first week of November 1st, 2020.

Influenza (flu) like illnesses are extremely contagious viral infections of the respiratory system (lungs, nose, throat) that cause fever, nasal and chest congestion, body aches and fatigue. The symptoms may seem mild but rapidly worsen. Influenza like illnesses include the common cold, flu and COVID19. Unlike some clinical trials, time is of the essence for enrollment in a Influenza like Illness Study. If you have Arthritis of the Knee, you already know that stiffness, swelling and pain in your knee can hinder your everyday life. Most currently approved treatments usually provide limited or temporary relief. We have a study that is evaluating a new injectable medication that has been formulated to provide both short term and long lasting relief.
Who can participate in this research study?
- Are you 40 years old or above?
- Have you had arthritis of the knee for at least 6 months?
- Are you able to walk?
